Project goal

As interview volumes grow, speed and precision are critical — but tools are scattered, creating inefficiency. The goal is to unify scheduling, preparation, and feedback into one seamless platform.

Research

To identify key challenges, interviews were conducted with technical directors, team leads, and HR managers. The analysis revealed several recurring pain points in their workflow.

01 Time-consuming feedback

Writing detailed feedback after back-to-back interviews is a long and draining process.

02 Disorganized notes

Insights, questions, and materials are scattered across various docs and tools, making them difficult to track and reuse.

03 Repetitive prep work

Interviewers waste time rebuilding plans for each candidate, even when asking similar questions.

04 No Integrated code execution

Running code required switching to external tools, which interrupted the natural flow of the interview.

05 Poor time management

Unexpectedly long tasks or answers disrupt the interview's flow, leading to a rushed or unbalanced experience.

05 Unstructured tech tasks

Reusable coding challenges are stored inconsistently, slowing down preparation.

Validation

Based on the insights, prototypes were created and tested with users. This helped validate hypotheses and identify bottlenecks early on.

Logo & visual identity

Two arrows form the letter N, symbolizing Nexa, continuous flow, and seamless connection in hiring. The identity and design system is clean and modular, with spheres as a core metaphor for matching people and opportunities. A cohesive visual identity was developed for the project — including the logo, 3D visuals, and mockups in a unified style.

Solution

A unified interview screen was created, bringing together all essential information — from job details and the candidate’s summary to the interview plan and feedback. No more switching between dozens of browser tabs.

Centralized library with AI-driven autosuggestions for faster, smarter interview planning.

Flexible interview builder

One of the main pain points was the repetitive process of setting up interviews. A flexible builder was developed, enabling the use of ready-made templates or the creation of fully customized interview layouts in minutes.

See the candidate and plan side by side, add comments, rate skills, and code live — all in one window. Notes, ratings, and recordings sync automatically, cutting feedback time and keeping the focus on the conversation.
