Project goal & research

The project aimed to identify shortcomings in existing solutions and explore opportunities to create a product with an improved user experience.

01 Competitor analysis

Studying the market to identify strengths and weaknesses of existing services and uncover unmet user needs.

02 User empathy and understanding

Gaining deep insight into the user context through persona creation, empathy mapping, and defining key tasks, pains, and gains using the Jobs-to-Be-Done framework.

03 Structuring and planning

Translating insights into design artifacts, including a User Story Map, information architecture, and user flows.

04 Visualization and testing

Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to simulate real interactions and conducting user testing to validate hypotheses and gather early feedback.

Over 30 user scenarios and 400+ screens

Key outcome

A data-driven strategic vision for the product was established. The proposed solution, validated with real users, optimizes key interactions and directly addresses identified user needs, helping to minimize development risks.

Design process

The Test Automation logo combines the letters T and A with play and pause symbols, reflecting simple control over starting and stopping tests and the platform’s automation capabilities. The visual concept was expanded with a logo, 3D assets, and branded mockups.

The platform provides an easy way to record, store, group, and replay tests across devices, with manual or scheduled execution.

No-code visual test recording

Test creation is fully visual and no-code: user simply hit record and perform the desired actions, while the analyzer automatically captures all steps and elements.

Intuitive drag & drop editing

Editing is intuitive via drag & drop, and code can be exported if needed.

Reusable shared steps

For repetitive actions like login, shared steps allow reusability, with dynamic values applied depending on the selected environment.

Seamless in-test element management

All element management and step editing are available directly within the test, making the workflow seamless and transparent.

Impact & outcomes

The design made the platform intuitive and accessible for non-technical users, allowing tests to be recorded simply by reproducing the desired scenario.
